ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys
A land title survey is an evaluation of a property to verify the legal description and possible easements of the property in question. Land title surveys determine any risk associated with purchasing land slated for development, construction or investment for insurance purposes. An up-to-date land title survey must be acquired before a title insurance company will issue a title insurance policy on the property and/or a lender will release a loan secured by real estate. ALTA and ACSM stand for the American Land Title Association and the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping, respectively. These two organizations set the standards for preparation of these surveys.
Highlights of our national ALTA Survey coordination services include:
- Not-to-exceed pricing - as long as the scope does not change. Multi-bid process using our National Surveyors Network results in competitive pricing and faster turnaround. We accept multiple bids for each site (approximately 3-5) to ensure competitive pricing and turnaround time. If known, we’ll include the prior surveyor in the bid process.
- A proposal presentation to the client which includes a breakdown of the not-to-exceed price and project time-frame per site (if there are multiple sites).
- Standardized Survey content and layout - easy to review and understand. Each survey in your portfolio will have similar layout with important information presented in standardized and similar way.
- In-house review staff - saves time and ensures timely delivery and accuracy of surveys.
- Standardized 22”x34” sheet size allows folding a survey to letter size (8.5" x 11") for easy storage with other transaction documents.
- One point of contact for entire portfolio.
- National coverage including all 50 states.
